Getting started

How it works

1

Copy as usual

Ctrl/⌘ + C. MeetClipkeep saves the text in the background.

2

Open your history

Press Ctrl ⇧ V (Windows) or ⌘ ⇧ V (Mac).

3

Paste

Pick a clip with the arrow keys, press Enter, then paste as usual.

The problem

Why a clipboard manager at all?

Your computer's clipboard holds exactly one thing. The moment you copy something new, the previous text is gone – the address you were about to paste, the order number you needed in two places, the sentence you rewrote and then lost.

Most people solve this by keeping a text file or a notes app open and pasting things into it “just in case”. It works, but it means deciding in advance what you will need later – and the deciding is the annoying part.

MeetClipkeep removes that step. It quietly keeps the last 500 things you copied, so the question changes from “did I save that somewhere?” to “when did I copy it?” Type a word you remember and the clip is back on your clipboard, ready to paste.

Features

Small program, everything you need.

MeetClipkeep does one job well. Here is exactly what it can do – nothing more is claimed.

Automatic history

Every piece of text you copy is added to the top of a list. Duplicates move to the top instead of piling up.

Just copy with Ctrl/⌘ + C

Instant search

Type a few letters to filter hundreds of clips – links, names, order numbers, code.

Start typing when the window opens

One global shortcut

Open your history from any program without reaching for the mouse.

Ctrl ⇧ V on Windows · ⌘ ⇧ V on Mac

Pinned snippets

Keep signatures, addresses and standard replies forever. Pinned clips are never cleared.

Click the pin icon on any clip

Pause saving

Stop recording temporarily, for example before copying a password from a password manager.

Tick “Pause saving” in the toolbar

Delete and clear

Remove one clip, or clear everything except your pinned clips in one click.

✕ on a clip, or “Clear (keep pinned)”

Who uses it

Made for people who copy a lot.

Customer support

Pin your standard replies and paste order numbers or links from earlier tickets without searching through tabs.

Developers

Keep commands, file paths, SQL queries and tokens you used an hour ago one shortcut away.

Writers and students

Collect quotes and references while researching, then paste each one where it belongs.

Local by design

Your clips stay on your computer.

Clipboard history is stored locally. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. You decide what is kept and can clear it at any time.
